Established in 2014, Home is Where the Heart Is’ mission is to provide residential services in a well maintained living environment to individuals throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. In a consciously created, well-maintained “home” living environment, our individuals receive supports with independent living skills including personal care, shopping, cooking, housekeeping and accessing community services.

Home Is Where the Heart Is sincerely invests in each of our individuals, and use our skills to help them succeed in their goals. Customized plans are created with each individual. The level of supervision and assistance provided by our staff is based on the need of each individual.  Home Is Where the Heart Is’ employees have many years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. The quality of our services is of the utmost importance.
